2008 NOV 17 - (VerticalNews.com) -- US Airways (NYSE: LCC) customers will once again have access to Paris' Charles De Gaulle airport through the airline's largest hub at Charlotte, North Carolina. The airline is set to provide daily seasonal service between The Queen City and The City of Light beginning April 21, 2009. US Airways currently serves London's Gatwick Airport and Frankfurt International Airport from its Charlotte hub and also codeshares with Lufthansa on Munich service from Charlotte. 2008 NOV 3 - (VerticalNews.com) -- US Airways (NYSE: LCC) customers will have a new United Kingdom option and their first Norwegian offering next summer when the airline inaugurates service to Birmingham and Oslo from its international gateway at Philadelphia International Airport. These new routes complement Tel Aviv service, which was announced earlier this year. The two routes are subject to foreign government approval. Birmingham becomes the fifth United Kingdom destination US Airways serves, while Oslo is the airline's second Scandinavian destination after Stockholm, Sweden.
